We empower participants with the commercial and teamwork experience needed to embark on an exciting career in data science. From Day 1 of the programme, participants are immersed in the day-to-day life of a data scientist through working with clients in a small team and using agile management methodologies. With the mentorship of an experienced data scientist, teams develop deliverables with real impact for their clients in only 5 weeks.

The Programme

S2DS builds upon the data science skills learned during your analytical PhD/MSc to apply your knowledge in a commercial setting. Develop your technical approach, teamwork skills, and business acumen through project work and start your networking journey with others going through the same transition as you. The programme includes many exciting social events as well as a Career’s Seminar to help begin your industry journey.

    Develop a churn model based on customer behaviour to maximise business impact and minimise cost.

    Analyse data and apply machine learning algorithms to build a dynamic pricing engine to maximise sales revenue.
